Play Walnut is an independent personal project. Research, writing, translation direction, photography, visual selection, and site maintenance are coordinated by the publisher under the public byline Play Walnut Editor. The site does not present invented employee roles or imply that a larger editorial organisation reviewed the work.

The walnut photographs and short walnut clips published in the Gallery are original media photographed by the site owner. Copyright remains with Play Walnut unless a page states otherwise. The images are used to teach careful observation of visible shape, texture, lighting, pairing, storage, and condition—not to certify variety, origin, age, authenticity, or value.

Site interface graphics and logo assets are maintained as part of the Play Walnut project. If any future guest or licensed media is added, its creator and licence will be identified next to the relevant item rather than covered by a vague site-wide acknowledgment.

External factual claims are linked where they are used. Journal articles include their own source lists and evidence notes. Research papers help with botanical identity and shell behaviour; official provider documentation supports statements about analytics, advertising, consent, and privacy. Collector terminology is clearly identified as market or community usage when it is not a scientific classification.
